Join us for the Cape Girardeau Police Department’s 2026 Badge of Hope Christmas Toy Giveaway Event on Saturday, December 19, 2026, from 5:30–8:30 PM at 629 Good Hope Street in Cape Girardeau! Bring the entire family and celebrate the Christmas season with our community as we enjoy hot dogs, hot chocolate, cookies, music, fellowship, and plenty of Christmas cheer! As part of this special outreach, we are collecting new, small toys for boys and girls to help make Christmas a little brighter for children in our community. Toys do not need to be wrapped; just donate a new toy and help us put a smile on a child’s face. Every gift, no matter how small, is an opportunity to show a child that their community cares. To donate a toy, arrange for a pick-up, or learn about available drop-off locations, contact Dr. Bob Lenz. Badge of Hope is sponsored by Restoration Community Church and local churches and non-profit organizations, working alongside the Cape Girardeau Police Department to bring families, officers, churches, organizations, and neighbors together for an evening of hope, joy, and community.
