Multi-Agency Resource Center to open Wednesday and Thursday in Marble Hill for those affected by tornado
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo (April 11, 2022) —The Red Cross is partnering with other local and state disaster assistance organizations and human services organizations to open a Multi-Agency Resource Center Wednesday and Thursday for those impacted by the recent tornado in Bollinger County. The center (MARC) is a “one-stop shop” for people needing assistance to recover from the tornado.
Anyone needing services, information and assistance is asked to stop by:
Wed. April 12, 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. or
Thurs., April 13, 10 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Individuals and families applying for assistance are asked to bring identification showing address and proof of residence to be eligible for assistance from some agencies.
In addition to other resources, the Red Cross will provide clean up supplies at the Multi-Agency Resource Center to include cleanup kits (5 gallon buckets with cleaning cloths, brushes and other items), rakes, shoves, gloves, trash bags and plastic containers.
Disaster Mental Health Support:
Anyone needing mental health support following the tornado may contact the Disaster Distress Helpline free of charge to talk to someone who can assist. Call or text 1-800-985-5990.

Financial donations enable the Red Cross to prepare for, respond to and help people recover from these disasters. This includes providing food, shelter, relief supplies, emotional support, recovery planning and other assistance.
