On Wednesday, March 25 at approximately 0600, the Perry County Health Department (PCHD) was notified of the third positive case of COVID-19 in Perry County, MO. The individual is a female in her 30s. It is unknown at this time if this case is connected to the first 2 cases.
Public health officials will continue their investigations on all cases and contact any additional individuals or organizations who are deemed at risk as a result. The number of cases can be greatly reduced by following public health guidance on social distancing, washing hands frequently, disinfecting commonly touched surfaces, and staying home while sick.
